Description:

The vacuum table is the accouterment to set perfectly flat all kinds of documents, wavy, crushed, folded or rolled. It covers every formats up to A0 /E with a useful surface of 840 x 1180 mm. It is constituted of a honeycombed plate and of two vacuum arms linked to two turbines. These two can be put at a distance of 5 meters and positioned in a close and isolated room, in order to minimize the sonorous disturb for the operator. The vacuuming power is adjustable and no overlaid transparent Mylar is necessary to perfectly stick down small format documents. The vacuuming is commanded by footswitch.
To improve again the operator's comfort, the DigiBook A0 software disposes of a rotation setting of the digitised document, to better deskew it in a horizontal or vertical axis.

These two positions (vacuuming and rotation) lead to a considerable time saving in the document setting before digitisation.

The vacuum table option is adapted to the A0 scanner and installed on a wheel table to ease its use.
